Kellogg's, the leader in breakfast cereals, has entered the seed mix segment, to be consumed as an “aperitif” but especially as a snack. A booming segment that is also attracting private labels, particularly Système U with its P'tit creux and P'tite gourmandise ranges.
Named Deluxe snack mix, the Kellogg's offer covers three original references combining cereal bits, seeds and fruits: 1. salted almonds, goji berries, cranberries and dark chocolate. 2. chocolate-covered coffee beans, apricots and almonds. 3. cashews, tropical fruits and apricots.
These mixes are packaged in bags of approximately 100g and are located on the “aperitif” aisles of stores.
