The Transition brand was created for supermarkets a year ago by the two founders of BioDemain, who have been operating in specialized channels since 2018. The objective of the young company is to support farmers with a remuneration that allows them to cover the additional costs during the three-year period necessary for conversion to organic. Transition signs a wide range of fruit juices, honeys, lentils, flours, nuts and vegetables.
It is present in 1,000 stores under Auchan, Intermarché, Cora, S.Match and Franprix. According to the founders, 82 000 € of additional income have been paid to the 150 partner farmers since the beginning of the brand.
