A suitable feed supplement for calves

Vitaladd is a feed supplement for whole milk fed calves that allows them to fully express their growth potential.

 

Denkavit offers a new feed supplement for whole milk fed calves, Vitaladd. Based on citric acids, trace elements and vitamins, Vitaladd supplements the whole milk of cows. The supplement is added at a rate of 5 g/L to the milk at 38°C. The company has carried out weighings in the farm and has noted an increase in GMQ of around 75 g/d with the Vitaladd supplement compared to the control batch.

 

Indeed, Denkavit considers that dairy cows have been selected for their production performance, without taking into account the nutritional needs of the calves, hence the importance of supplementation.
